Party questions before the frosting starts
Pick one main activity, like cookie decorating or cupcake decorating. Set up stations, portion toppings, prep treats before guests arrive, and keep the oven out of the party plan unless the group is older and small.
Ages 3 and up can decorate cooled cookies with adult supervision, small topping bowls, and realistic expectations about sprinkle geography.
Plan at least one cupcake per guest plus a few extras for drops, sibling diplomacy, and the adult who says they do not want one but does.
You need cooled cookies or cupcakes, frosting, portioned toppings, trays or plates, cleanup supplies, take-home bags, and printable signs or activity cards if you want it to look intentional.
Planning treats too? Try easy sugar cookies kids can decorate or birthday cupcakes kids can help decorate.
